Lately I've really been digging the Roupe album _Strom_. Having just picked it up a few weeks ago and only hearing his track "Somnambulism" on _Endlessnessism_ (but being very impressed by both) what else has he got out? Any recommendations? And as an interesting aside, Louise Rhodes is credited with the photos decorating _Strom_. It's a small world after all ... any help appreciated. I picked up this older Roupe 2xlp in NY last week (at Sonic Groove) (they have a number of old GPR odds-n-ends, btw) and I wish I'd heard it in '95 when it came out... I see how R(upert?) Brewer's programming developed to the smooth blend of jungley, non-sample-based synthwork of the full-length on Resource Rec. and the funkyness of the Dot label EP. well, he has got out a 12" on dot - "transport solutions". there can you also find remixes by friend and metamatics. so says the info on http://www.gargamel.com/dot anyway. and one track on the fabuolus compilation "the knights who say dot" is made by this guy - the only one i didn't love on that album. ehrrm. he has probably got out more than this, but my knowledge in roupeism isn't THAT big. / thomas
