could anyone tell me what you think are the best North America online sources for idm vinyl and cds. who has the widest and deepest stock (i.e., carries everything from the orb to some obscure carpet bomb or fatcat shit and manages to keep it on hand for a respectable amount of time), reasonable prices (tho i assume everyone is in the same ballpark), and reliable service? thanks, jeff

Skimo is by far the best thing that I've tried. Bent Crayon is very good as well You can email skimo at skimomusic@home.com Franz http://gargamel.com/frankie -- WHEN DOGMA ENTERS THE BRAIN, ALL INTELLECTUAL ACTIVITY CEASES. - Robert Anton Wilson

for service: S//kimo - hands down. PJ is one of the nicest, most genuine people alive. for selection: you can't beat Other Music (http://www.othermusic.com). don't even try. but Forced Exposure is cheaper (http://www.fe.org), since you're cutting out the middleman. mr. e. still p: people like us: hate people like us (Death in June as a remixer? Ill have to agree with this, I should have mentioned him but I thought the question was about strictly ONLINE shops.. I tend to go with PJ first simply because of the personal service & decent prices. His site WILL BE http://www.skimo.com (the VMM already lists it! ) Until its there you can email him of course at "skimomusic@home.com" ernie Ernesto Ikerd, (817) 763-4795 Company Graphics, Dept 17, MZ-1156 Lockheed Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems Fort Worth, Texas

Sorry to waste bandwidth with a "me too" post, but David @ pbe truly deserves all the props he can get. Definately no frills, but it's high quality, very quick and reliable, and run by one of the nicest guys around. -chris

if you're in canada: bent crayon. excellent prices, deep selection, and a thorough & reliable special order service. it's also one of the few places that will send things non commercial so that you don't get nailed at the border. he can get just about anything you want, but i've noticed he's not as deep when it comes to house. ---Original Message--- could anyone tell me what you think are the best North America online sources for idm vinyl and cds. who has the widest and deepest stock (i.e., carries everything from the orb to some obscure carpet bomb or fatcat shit and manages to keep it on hand for a respectable amount of time), reasonable prices (tho i assume everyone is in the same ballpark), and reliable service? thanks, jeff
