Just wanted to say goodbye (for awhile) since I'm taking off for London later today. I'll be back in mid August and hope to have plenty of stories to tell and photos to show. I'm looking forward to catching the Planet Mu and Rephlex nights and seeing what this Berwick street is all about. I think Squarepusher should dedicate his song "Lone Raver" to me since that's what I'll be over there. All the people on my trip will probably be looking for the nearest DC Talk concert so I'll just have to forge my own path. I know it's a longshot, but if any of you Londoners see an average height white guy with glasses and a collared shirt with a Buddha figure on the back at any of the shows, that'll be me. Come up and say hallo. My email over there will be: arioj@hotmail.com I picked up EP7 yesterday and hope to give it a good listen on the flight over. I previewed it just now and it sounds really cool. I've always been a fan of LP5 so I don't really mind that EP7 uses some of the same sounds. I also picked up this really good album by Tristeza called "Spine and Sensory." I've never really heard of them, but the case looked cool so I gave it a listen. It sounds just like Tortoise with even a little more ambientness thrown in. Talk to y'all later. --nick ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Good luck mate!, as the Rephlex nights have stopped and the Planet Mu nights are rare as rocking horse shit... P.S. Berwick St is full of 'wanna be trendy' wankers. There *are* good clubs but you REALLY have to look around Ben Coleman
