If anyone out there is interested in asking Orbital a (serious) question or two, please send them to erik@skinny.com. We're doing an interview this weekend, and would like to give a range of questions from as many people as possible. thanks, -- ::::: Darren Keast ::::: Editor ::::: Skinny Intertainment Network ::::: http://www.skinny.com/

Asked them why the show we saw last Printemps de Bourges was so awful: they even destroyed the beauties of old songs... ....................... Eric Mattson ............ .......... eric@sai.qc.ca ____________ "Je ne vaux que ce par quoi je n'adhère pas au monde" Cioran

I have no comment on Orbital's live show, but i'm wondering what all the slagging of "Middle of Nowhere" was about. Sure, it doesn't have "The Box" or "P.E.T.R.O.L." but the album is better than the rest of the tracks on In Sides, and really beats Snivilisation. Of course, i don't have thier earlier albums, so maybe that's why i miss the problems. I absolutely love "Oton~o." I put it on repeat for an hour and still want more. P.S. the reason why i said " And what i've heard of Clifford Gilberto sounds a lot like some stuff i've heard by squarepusher. But then, so does a lot of the Amon Tobin and Funki Porcini, as far as i can tell." was to soften my opinion. I didn't say that they necessarily were, just that to my ears that have heard only parts of each, they're in a similar vein. Geez. _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY
