now online on Cognition http://www.globalserve.net/~cognition --an interview with Stockholm Sweden's Wildplanet (Simon Hartley/one fourth of Lucky People Centre) talking about his new Transmitter album on Detroit's 430 West, Lucky People Center, the Electric Entourage '99 tour, Warp, working with Mark Bell (formerly of LFO), the Swedish electronic music and techno scenes, Jesper Dahlback, Cari Lekebusch, Adam Beyer, and plenty more, plus RA of 5 tracks from his Wildplanet album. There's also of review of his album in the "album reviews" section on the Cognition site. Thanks. Andrew Duke :)

Probably Identifying myself as a further ignoramus, but i was not aware that LFO broke up. Bummer. Depending on my mood, "Frequencies" blows away "Incunabula" as best early "IDM" album, especially "Simon from Sidney" np: DJ Rap "Learning Curve" (hmmm...much more electro than i expected) _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY

Heh, that reminds me... the "WARPNews" section of WARPNet says "Expect new albums from Autechre, Aphex Twin, Mira Calix, Boards of Canada and >>>LFO<<< sometime before the end of the millenium."... what's this gonna be, then?!? ?_? Oh, and while I'm at the keys... quoting the other post mentioned in the subject... "Lambs nameless debutalbum was a battlefield. A document of a struggle of two very different individuals. But on Fear Of Fours, their second album, the fighting is over. "We trust eachother a lot more nowadays."" Am I the only one that's missing this, errr, "battle"? To me, the first album was a lot more emotionally -uh- challenging(?) than the second one... not that "Fear Of Fours" was bad, but I find it's lacking [that special] something that made me half-nuts about "Debut Album"... Leaving the LFO Q, but deeply overanalyzing the Warpnews quote: I bet they're referring to the true end of the millennium (please note proper spelling). Like Dec 31, 2000 instead of "By the end of this year" _________________________________ Adam Roesch / roesch@augsburg.edu University of Idaho / Moscow / ID / USA Visit my Fila Brazillia/Pork Recordings fan site: http://dogbert.augsburg.edu/~roesch/pork/ "Because success needs killing" TRICKY
