Classic Rising High releases! Neapolitan is sort of in the way of 'House is Mine' with less kick and more eerie keys and twisted rhythms+bass, it gives off a haunted vibe. It's about 115bpm more or less, and as the title suggests, it's theme is Ice Cream, with samples of children chanting "i scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream" and hypnotic ice cream van chimes and solemn whispers in French(?) Don't listen to this one before going to bed :^) e --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

aaaaaahhhh! yeah, i had this rec once, too. it really is almost nauseating, creepy slowish hardcore ('91 i believe). the "Ice Cream Van from Hell" is the name of the track. terribly weird and pretty fun IMO. ELT went on to make a lot of ambient/techno gear for Rising High, although i never really followed their output much. i know that the ice cream song was included on the K-Tel "Kaos Theory 3" comp with a bunch of other hardcore from the era. KT4 is how i discovered Black Dog, btw (Virtual was on it). -jeff ------------ 1642 try 621 ------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
