Well, Ken Ishii's name and the track title were also clearly displayed. I didn't see it as a "product placement", a la PowerBooks in ID4, I saw it as consistent with the style and mood of the anime. Notice, there are other logos and advertisments visible in the city that the video takes place in. You can find examples of this kind of "commercial sensory overload" device in all urban-futuristic anime, as well in many American sci-fi pics (eg. Bladerunner). This is typical of Anime stuff. Go to the vid store and rent some anime, you'll see many logos jumping out at you, it may be a way to pay for production. -- FreyGuy <Everyday is FreyDay> LAN Administrator Hansen Corporation / A Minebea Group Company /The cold is telling you that you're alive\ \The night is showing you that you're limited/ KevFrey@evansville.net --------- Kfrey@nyx.net

They whip through synaptic clefts like invincible joyriders crashing the last red lights before the open highways. Long, straight, empty nerves carry them effortlessly to destinations where smooth muscles scoop them up and outwards without hesitation." --doug hawes ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. I believe that was a limited "live" release that came out last year. I remember listening to it last year and not being impressed. If i remember correctly it sounded too big beat meets gabber for my tastes. Speaking of Ken Ishii, he has just released a new album and a few eps recently: . Ken Ishii: Sleeping Madness cd/2x12" (Sony - Japan) . Ken Ishii: Misprogrammed Day cdep/12" (Sony - Japan) . Ken Ishii: Game Over 12" (Sony - Japan) So far i've only heard RA previews of the newer stuff but the style was similar to that of his Jelly Tones cd with a little more of a funky jazz flavor. Overall it was ok but not really my thing.
