I was listening to Black Dog's _The Temple Of Transparent Balls_ on the way home from work today, and kept catching myself thinking "Boy Howdy! This sure sounds like something Neuropoitique might do..." I had not listened to "Temple..." in a while- the parallels (at least to these ears) surprised me. Just an observation i felt compelled to blather on about. Go back to your regular meaningful reading activities ;) -Thad ps- that was an ancient tape copy of "Temple" i was listening to- id happily provide a *good* trade for anyone's cd copy that might be gathering dust (?)

these ears) surprised me. Which Neuropolitique? Nothing has bettered 'Mind you don't trip' IMO - and I reckon Juan Atkins had a hand in that. Recent Neuropolitique hasn't really grabbed me. Transparent Balls is a wicked album - anyone parting with that must be mad!

Upon finishing listening to the rest of Black Dog's "Temple" this morning, I must say only a few of its tracks (within the first half of the album or so) sound like Neuropolitique. But they do (again to my ears) sound *very similar*. Not that this means anything in particular :) -Thad
