I didn't realize this at the time I encoded the mp3s on bleepbloop, but A Guy Called Gerald - 'The Peel Sessions' is still available through http://www.ubl.com/ubl/cards/024/8/23.html ... I ordered a copy last week and received it today. It's just 3 tracks, and they're not that awesome, but if you're a collector, or want some historical perspective, these were recorded in late 1988, probably around the same time as Newbuild.

It's always worth having a good hunt around on the web. It took me about 30 minutes to locate (and eventually buy) the Gerald Peel Sessions, 808 State's 'Quadrastate' (now I've got 2 copies!) and 'Insane Lover', the 'Feverhouse' video with the Biting Tongues soundtrack, some old FSOL vinyl, etc. -- /\/)ark headspin - http://www.sonance.demon.co.uk/
