I'll be visiting Japan (Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka) in May. While there, I'd like to buy a bunch of CDs. Could someone suggest good music stores in any of these cities? Specifically for IDM, ambient, experimental, etc. Also, any suggestions on places to see interesting music? Thanks.

I didn't get much of a chance to check out off-the-road shopping in Tokyo when I was there...mostly because I had dropped close to 400 $ in the Tokyo Tower in the Shibuya district (I think that's where it was) - ALL in the J-pop section and mostly on Ishi, Hosono and similar items. Take lots of money, things are not cheap there. Try and restrain yourself to buy what you'll prolly not see again. jeff Sndbyte@aol.com wrote:
