IMHO, I find that the things that aren't discussed much on this list (ISAN, Andrea Parker, and all things Fat Cat or Touch come to mind) are generally more exciting than most things normally under discussion. Anyway, can anyone comment on differences between the artwork on the MoWax and Toys Factory versions?? I only have the Japanese version and was wondering if the MoWax version was worth acquiring? Thanks, Mike

I agree, I am supprised that fat cat does not get mentioned more. However, I have my theories as to why: 1. no definite sound. They put out what they want to put out. 2. span many genres 3. more experimental in nature 4. Fat Cat is not really into the crunchy/strange beat/dsp influenced electronics that has become popular in recent months (years?) 5. release to much. Hard to keep up and keep it straight. Either way though, people should pay attention to them. notable recent fat cat release (thought not idm): transient waves - sonic narcotic (or something like that, working from memory). A little short but if you liked their bliss out material pick this up at once. -daniel Head Monkey Mad Monkey Records http://monkey.eliteware.com
