well, that i don't know because i've never seen the vinyl version... BUT, did anybody else notice that the video was played in two different scenes in the movie!! once really early on in the movie and once when cage goes into dino velvetine's crazy looking office, if you look in the top right hand corner there is a tv hanging from the ceiling, and it's playing come to daddy... then when the song is playing on machine's record player, anybody notice when the music stopped and the runnout groove was just making that "static...click...tssst...static...click..tsst" sound for a while? the song haden't actually ended. so if you knew what come to daddy sounded like, you would then know that machine was just fucking with cage and knew that he was in the house... but how would cage know what come to daddy's ending sounded like... then the song startes again from about the half way point, and it shows the record playing from the middle... yeah.. i paid too much attention, i know. either way, i found it strange that they would use a song that maybe 1% of people at the theater had heard for a clue in the movie.... and anybody notice machine was listening to aphex, yet the walls of his room were covered in danzig posters and stickers. what are they trying to say? hah.

yeah, i didn't find it nearly as disturbing as people said it was, but when you think about the part when he was asking permission to kill those porno scum guys, it kinda gives you the creeps, like he's just completely obsessed it's getting ugly. yeah, oh, and the new bochum welt 12" is really good. -kiya iamacopierltd.
