i still haven't heard Pole but Gilly compared one of my 586 tracks to him, and therefor i can claim that Pole doesn't sound anything like Pan Sonic.
i have the Vakio album by Panasonic (Sähkö) and it's all live electronic glitches and fuzzing, sinewaves and minimalism made with old voltage adapters and old analog gear. lovely stuff indeed.
