There's supposedly a Jake Mandell 12" on some tiny label that came out prior to the "Midwest" EP. If it's still available, anyone have any info on where I can get this? (Lance?) BTW, does this guy ever play out? I'm surprised there's not more talk on the list about him, as "Midwest" was the best thing I've heard since I first listened to BoC's "Hi Scores" two years ago. -Mike

Jake had one or two eps out on his own Primedeep label a few years ago. I know one of them is called the Dlue Veacon ep but i thought there was another too. I think those records were only pressed up in limited numbers so i dont know how many are still around. Jake put it out on his own label, primeDEEP, where he was also planning to put out Midwest and his album before Lucky Kitchen and Worm Interface came a'knockin'. It's good, but not quite as developed as Midwest and Parallel Processes (the WI album). There used to be a site with ordering info at http://www.primedeep.com, but all that's there now are links to the LK and WI websites. I know Jake's on the list (at least he was at one point), so maybe he'll pipe up if there are any copies left. Greg np ; Black Dog "Babylon" promo, returned to me after being borrowed by a friend for a month or so... damn it's good! And there's a mix or two that aren't gonna be on the commercial release. Bids start at $1000... :)

There was a release on primedeep. Jake Mandell's label I believe. This release is not as good as the midwest ep. It has its moments but is fair in comparison. -daniel
