Kids, Just a couple of faves of mine from the past year: (no particular order) EPs Wagon Christ - Lovely 12" (Personal) Lithium Project - Lithium Project 12"/CD5 (Clear) Chris De Luca - Unknown 12" (Choc Ind) John Callaghan - I'm Not Comfortable Inside My Mind 7" (Warp) V/A - Stuffing 7" (V/Vm) Björk/Funkstörung - All Is Full of Love 12"/CD5 (Fat Cat) V/A - 8, 8.5, 9 12" (Fat Cat) Metamatics - Onyx 10" (Clear) Sicutdb vs Scanner - The Bovine Revolver 12" (Sprawl) Komeda - A Simple Formality (Dot Remixes) CD5 (Nons) Richard Coleman Devine - Schematic 5 12" (Schematic) Funkstörung - Post Art 12" (Choc Ind) LPs: Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children (Warp/Skam) Massive Attack - Mezzanine (Virgin) Autechre - "Autechre" (Warp) Amon Tobin - Permutation (Ninja) Cornelis Vreeswijk - Skatter ur Cornelis fatabur (Metronome) Hansson och Karlsson - H&K (Polydor) Unkle - Psyence Fiction (Mo Wax) Bola - Soup (Skam) Squarepusher - Music is Rotted One Note (Warp) Bob Hund - Jag rear ut min själ, Allt ska bort! (Silence) Kruder & Dorfmeister - K&D Sessions (!K7) Herbert - Around the House (Phonography) Wagon Christ - Tally Ho! (Personal) Cardigans - Gran Turismo (Stockholm) Global Goon - Cradle of History (Rephlex) Metamatics - Neo Ouija (Pvine/Clear) Air - Moon Safari (Source) Jurassic 5 - J5 (Pan) Money Mark - Push the Button (Mo Wax) . Most appreciated debut: Richard Coleman Devine on Schematic. Fresh, groovy and crunched as all fuck. Those who are into Gescoms Keynell EP MUST check this one out. . Biggest disappointment: Warp releasing downright junk like Mira Calix or Max Tundra. . Best sleevedesign: East Flatbush Project compilation (DR), Björk/Funkstörung (DR), Massive Attack - Mezzanine/Singles 92-98 (Tom Hingston & Robert Del Naja), Hansson & Karlsson compilation (Kingston), Bob Hund LP (Martin Kann). . The sadest thing of 98: The demise (?) of Clear. At least the absence of releases. . The most embarassing thing of 98: The pathetic "Chinese Whispers" from Sprawl which was a blueprint of Dot's "Endlessnessism" concept. I don't even WANT to hear the album. . My fave album of the year not released in 98: KLF - Chill Out. . Public person of the year: Johan Ehrenberg, Noam Chomsky. . Film of the year: Fucking Åmål (Lukas Moodyson), Festen (Tomas Vinterberg), Idioterna (Lars Von Trier). Okay.... I want to clear things up once and for all. I thought the guy was named Richard Coleman and the EP was called "Devine". But I seem to be the only one on this list. Am I completely mistaken?

Hey! I quite like that disc thank you! :) The T Power remix is especially fun for screwing with listeners on my radio show.... or at least losing a few. It's all in good fun. onnow: Wishmountain is dead (could somebody please supply a tracklisting for the vinyl?)

you are indeed mistaken. As a friend of his, I assure you his name is Richard Coleman Devine. Actually I preferred it when he simply went by Richard Devine. It has a nicer ring to it.
