James Bong - C'Est Tres Bong (2Kool) Weird hiphop with lots of distracting effects and abrupt transitions. Occasionally it kicks but most of it sounds just like rote sampler-flexing. If anybody's doing better work in this area I'd like to hear about it, because the style is intriguing even if the execution isn't there yet. Miles

`I didn't really enjoy the "C'est Tres Bong" album, but there's a pretty cool track from 'James Bong' on an (older) compilation that _Stud!o K7_ put out titled "DJ:Kicks:Kruder & Dorfmeister!" which, by the way, is a great compilation. There's a track by JB titled "Never Say?" on the _2 Kool_ label. `Wondering what _Stud!o K7_ have been up to lately. I've since lost the web-address. Could anyone help me out? `Pietro.
