Nothing. Those albums are Puppy's best by an _enormous_ margin. Especially if you heard VivisectVI and weren't impressed, you really should look no further, because they're all pretty samey and not very good. But man, Last Rights is sheer genius. --- the humble abbott arthur purvis set his hand hereto

As always everyone here has differing opinions and I completely disagree with the above. Imo, the best Skinny Puppy albums by a longshot are _VIVIsectVI_, _Mind: The Perpetual Intercourse_, and _Cleanse Fold and Manipulate_. Those 3 focus more on the beat, while retaining a gritty and experimental edge. The later albums definitely have a more drug induced and freeform feel, though, if that's what you're after. I personally like the earlier albums since they fit well with the Meat Beat Manifesto and Front 242 sounds of that era, which I was/am still a fan of. Just make sure to avoid their worst (and last) album _The Process_. __________________________________________ E r i c F r a n s :: efrans@earthlink.net [cellular] http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans [so-cal idm] http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/scidm [si-{cut}.db] http://home.earthlink.net/~efrans/benford
