Artist: Ko-Wrecktechnique (DJ Craze and Push Button Objects)
TItle: Ko-Wrection ep
Label: Chocolate Industries
In case you guys wanted to know about great, new turntable music, I just
wanted to tell you guys about Ko-Wrecktechnique which is a new collaberation
ep between DJ Craze and the electronic artists known as Push Button Objects.
First of all, I thought Tektonics which was a similar collaberation comp
between some of the greatest turntablists (P-Trix, Apollo, Disk, Vin Roc,
Imperial, Rob Swift, Scratch Perverts, etc) was a huge disappointment. The
scratching was great, but the beats by electronic artists such as Howie B,
Photek, Wagon Christ were mediocre. However, Ko-Wrecktechnique is an
incredible listen for it's scratching and idm/hip-hop beats. There is also a
track remix by Plaid. It's only five tracks, but they're all really good.
It's on a record label called Chocolate Industries.
