well once again we see that Nothing has its head up its ass in fine fashion. I'd wager it's doubtful _they_ even know exactly what they're releasing. new Ae material? the only source I trust for that is Warp, and there's been no info. so prepare to be disappointed. or angered when Nothing adds an unreleased track to lp5, which actually will probably end up being something already available like "stop look listen." sean&rob keep pretty tight control of their artistic output and seem pretty specific in choosing when and where to release material. I doubt they'd create something just for Nothing's benefit. so again, I'm not holding my breath. how 'bout this: next Tuesday Nothing releases Chiastic Slide and then in November lp5.

DJ Shadow dj'd in-store at the Tower on Belden here in Chicago this past Wednesday, but no other proper gig here. skipped the in-store 'cuz that Tower is right in the heart of 90's yuppieville, and I can just imagine what the crowd would have been like. besides, as much as I respect the man I am a little worn out on his sound...

Uh, maybe CMJ is the clueless party? I mean, I've never heard of music "journalists" ever fucking up facts, have you?

Yeah, that'll make me really angry. *boggle*

They made "Medrey" just for the Japanese Tri Repetae release and the Japanese market is a wee bit smaller than the USA.

Neither am I.

How about they release the untitled record next week since that's what's announced everywhere including the s://kimo upcoming releases and we'll see if anything happens in November? C. -- Chris.Hilker (cspot@hyperreal.org)

fuking ass! i'm getting sick of this "hay lets all take a big-o phat shit on Nothing records" bs. if you want to bitch about Nothing releasing or not releasing domestic warp stuff then start your own domestic label and license the stuff yourself. oh don't want to do that, eh? then shut the fuck up. sure they do take a while and thats how Nothing loses a lot of their costomers. and sure NIN loses a lot of its fan base when Reznor waits 12 years in between his record which he lets get really worn out, but without the Rez i may not even have been introduced to the stuff i like today. stirring up shit since 1995, ???л ___________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
