...and suddenly, for an entire DAY, the thread was quiet. TOO quiet! Would anyone care to corroborate this? Is he RIGHT? And if so, why have so many people been saying otherwise? And why the "import ban" if they're not going to release it? Do they think it will offend the delicate sensitivities of our nation's NIN listeners?! Or was that just a rumor as well? And why are we just now hearing this, rather than half-a-year ago when all the anticipation started? I COULD'VE BOUGHT THIS THING FROM PJ SIX MONTHS AGO!! But I chose to wait on the off-chance that the domestic release--WHOEVER THE FUCK PUTS IT OUT!!--would include the Envane EP like several listmembers said it would... and because I'm too cheap to buy imports. Now it's not even going to be released in the US?! Or was that last post just a cruel joke to freak out the lurkers?... Well, I bit! <:D

to clear this one up once and for all (i hope). someone did announce that nothing were to release the 'new autechre'. it was then *speculated* n the list that it *may* include ep's like the plug release of "drum'n'bass for papa". as "chiastic slide" had only recently been released by warp everyone assumed: 'new autechre' = "chiastic slide" it was then posted that 'new autechre' in fact meant the 'next autechre' i.e. the recently released "lp5". i don't think anyone has ever announced that nothing would release "chiastic slide", tho' i'm not saying this will never happen, i wouldn't hold your breath (for either of them). -martin
