ok, so i love this artist, but their stuff is very very hard to find, BUT there IS hope.. pj, over at modern music is going to get alot of the STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN stuff in a week, so email him if you want something very soon, the stuff moves very fast, oh and i do not work for pj, im just merely a very happy customer (that spends too much of his money on idm stuff) . so, pj's email is modernmusic2@earthlink.net or call him at his new number at (410) 203-0731 or his old number at (410) 625-9390 experimental electronic music at it's best, you hear a SH&W record and you won't forget it for weeks, i figure it's made for people with very short attention spans, or people that get bored of "single-tone-for-53-minutes" experimental... ok, here is a selective discog.... STILLUPPSTEYPA One Side Mona Lisa CD EP Icelandic group assisted by the Hafler Trio, the Gerogerigegege and Stock, Hausen & Walkman. STILLUPPSTEYPA Reduce by Reducing 12 inch STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN Giving Up compact disc First release, from 1993, for group similar to Tape Beatles or People Like Us. STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN Oh My Bag LP Their latest slice-n-dice collage blends humor and technology. STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN Organ Transplants LP Includes a free 7 inch record. STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN Organ Transplants Vol. 1 compact disc The fourth CD from Manchester's oddest couple is a dazzling tour-de-force on the sampler. They've dissected hundreds of sounds from 50s and 60s easy listening albums and created a very cool record. STOCK, HAUSEN & WALKMAN Stop compact disc Edited live recordings from 1995. DUMMY RUN Ice Cream Headache LP and CD The alternate outlet for the band known as Stock Hausen & Walkman. $14.99 "Empty Box" 10" (Hot Air) "Stripper" 7" (Eerie Materials) there, clipped, copied, saved. remember to change the thermofuse when changing the heat lamp! nothing is worse than a tech. that skimps. -kiya i am a copier. we are not all copiers.

pj is still in business? he's still getting new stock in without settling old debts? he's still living in the u.s? he's still alive?

nah, not at all. but there was a small amount of confusion over when a couple of us small labels are going to be paid for product sold through modern music. we're currently discussing that, and we're working all that out. pj isn't a crook!! but because of the circumstances surrounding his business at the moment (which i'm sure you'll be aware of courtesy of pj himself), there have been a few cases where payment has taken some time to be arranged. the many messages i have received from satisfied customers of modern music are enough to make me feel absolutely confident in this matter - thanks to those people. please note that this does not affect the mail order sales at all, so please, buy with confidence and support this great chap (thus supporting us too!).... mentioning the matter on idm was regrettable really.. best of luck with your new venture pj, and may it bring you continued success (which is inevitable if you're stocking our absolutely SUPERB records!) <waves> Subconscious Geography http://www.sub-con-geo.demon.co.uk +/sale +/cdr

I think this is where some people are unclear about your circumstance, as you approach this from a label point of view, not a customer (not to take away from your situation, I just can't imagine tell anyone to NOT order from pj) on the otherhand, as a customer, I'm in a position where *I* owe pj money and, well, lets just say that pj is *the #1* mailorder about... (he's the man, the shit, the big daddy of idm mailorder... now if he just had a damn copy of obssesive eye w/7" my life would be complete) Anyways, as an over satisified fan of his, I just thought it was very cool on your part to offer the extended information that others may not have picked up on... (again, that doesn't make your money any less important and such.. anyways) np: h.hancock - jammin' w/herbie brap@sonic.net[icq: 12645306] http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ sfwd prod | noisesoundnoise chris g. 1547 boston court #7, santa rosa, ca 95405
