actually, I'm beginning to think of VC as the American Solution to Rephlex... Lots of satyrical, raw, out of control, electronic (?) tunes. And after several chats w/ bob and miguel, things seem to be definetly shaping up for this chula vista, CA, based label, w/ quality control becoming something of a priority. but my favorites include: Mens Recovery Project (Frank Talk About Humans) Tit Wrench (OK you homo's, out of the car) Disc (Self titled double cd feat. Matmos) Disc (Gaigin 4) IAO Core (Sonic Art Terrorists from San Francisco featuring members of Matmos, Tipsy, Swans, and more) Lesser/Kid606 Split OmniBot/Kid606 Split Lesser (Welcome to the American Experience) Lesser (Gigilo Cop) Bigg Citty Orchestra (performs from selected cut-up books of Od McUb) and I think their other smaller noise releases are pretty dope too like Vomit Lunches, Merzbow etc. are pretty dope too. cheers Luke
