While most works by this group (especially the early ones) don't have that
electronic IDM sparkle, this one does. It's a collection of remixes and
rerecordings of songs from their other records, which were pretty funky to
begin with and are now both funky and electronic. It's dated in spots,
but most of those spots have good dates.
Maybe not for everyone, but a suggestion for something you might not look
twice at otherwise. Also, it's not a new release, just something I was
listening to that made me want to share.
