Ooooooo! Matt and Ben is it? And we thought it was only Gonzi who was doing the name dropping thing, Brock. (or should it be Mr. Suter - p'haps only your close friends such as Matt and Ben can call you Brock);) Matt - (no relation to Matt Optical) PS. (Re: the 'TO:' in replying to IDM mails) this reply thing has gone back to how it was before.....now I am confused......I was one of the silent majority who was happy with the new way.... ____________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? heheheh. It's funny that you mention this as 'name dropping' since you damn well know those ARE their names. Just like when you were posting about 'mark', 'tom' and 'kirsty' last august. :-P I had a conversation with another stateside pal the other day about how brits (and most other europeans) tend to call each other by their dj/producer names and rarely by their real names. It came down to us trying to figure, out of the whole d&b scene, how many real names we didn't know. The answer was only a few...but hey, we're smart, well traveled and read a lot! Personally, I find the practice a little silly, but I guess it saves confusion if you've got a bunch of people with the same name. In the nouturn/virus/dsci4 crew, everyone's got different names, hence I generally call them by the name their parents blessed (or in duncan's case, cursed ;-) them with. And sorry to upset you, but they ARE my friends. Can't wait to see them all at WMC in a few days! brock ps. You can call me 'cunt' like all the other little kids here! ;-) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

I couldn't give less of a sh*t which artists you know. Did you even both you read my post? I DO NOT KNOW ARTISTS' FIRST NAMES. If you said Richard or Tom, I'd know who you were talking about. But beyond that, I'm lost.

Thanks a lot Colin. It's EXTREMELY BAD JUJU to post private messages to ANY list. I don't understand what your problem is and I don't have any clue why the fuck you flamed me in public for a private message that was completely innocent, lighthearted and even courteous, in reply to a private message YOU sent me. In fact, I can't even decipher what the hell you are talking about here, since you say 'both' and the only people involved in this discussion were YOU and ME (as it was private until you posted THIS to the list): Colin King-Bailey wrote (in public):

Please tell me you are drunk or momentarily retarded or something good. brock ps. If you don't know artists names, I suggest you: a) try to figure it out, using the context of the message b) look on your records/cd's for credits c) look on the web c) ask someone pps. To the rest of the list, sorry for this message but I felt some explanation was needed for this cryptic post since it had my name on it. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
