For those of you in Toronto and surrounding areas, I just thought I'd warn
you about a couple of things that'll be happening tonight on my radio
show, feedback monitor, heard on CIUT 89.5 FM.
First of all, I'll be doing a special extended edition tonight, from 8 PM
to midnight.
Secondly, I'll be devoting a good chunk of the first half of the show to
the work of David Kristian. I'll be playing tracks from all of his solo
and split releases, as well as pretty much all of his compilation
appearances.
And finally, sometime after 10 PM, members of Toronto's experimental
techno group Transformantra will be dropping by to talk about thier new
self-titled full length disc (out now on Silver Recordings) and to present
a special broadcast of a 45 minute live set recorded this past March.
Somewhere in between all of this, I'll be trying to find the time to spin
a few new releases and give away a goodie pack featuring copies of Dot's
"Endlessnessism" comp, the new Q-Burns Abstract Message singles collection
(Astralwerks), and the absolutely mindblowing new Amon Tobin album (Ninja
Tune).
