Oval is supposed to play in Iowa City April 9, 1998. I thought "great! they're on tour!" -- but when I look on that good for nothing world wide web I can't find anything about Oval tour dates! Anyone out there with the inside poop on where they're playing? hehhehheh. i love oval's 'systemich' but i don't know about actually paying money to see them. (unless they've expaned on their sound...)plus, now that they got that piece of software coming out anybody will be able to spin 'oval' tracks... I read last month (in Billboard, of all places) that Oval was set to open for Tortoise on their U.S. tour (late spring, early summer, I seem to recall). Of course, that was about a month ago. I don't know if plans have changed. -d.w.

that's because they are touring with Tortoise. the show is listed under Tortoise at ticketmaster.com. -mc
