Well! It appears that IDM is once again showing up in the most unlikely of places. Has anyone else in the US seen that new Briggs & Stratton commercial? I don't know if it's a nationwide thing, but the music playing as they show off their wares (that's right; lawnmowers!) sounds suspiciously like the track "wet moon" from human mesh dance's "mindflower" album. And here I thought I'd seen everything. Speaking of Taylor 808, what's he been up to lately? After the second SETI project, I kinda lost track. S'pose I can catch him on the county fair circuit showing off his 42" rear-bagger and heavy-duty wood chipper? ...sorry :)

He's got a full-length CD coming out under his own name as well as a few other projects, I believe. Check his web site at www.12k.com for more info... --- : wells oliver / s0ewoliv@titan.vcu : http://mute.simplenet.com

Umm...he's still at it. He's got a number of projects going with the usual suspects (i.e. Instinct alumni). I've not heard much of his stuff in a while, but I still get his newsletter via Email. Prototype 909 is done -- he and Dietrich Schoenmann are a duo called "Unit Park" now. Very occasionally you'll catch dietrich hanging out on vrave ;-)
