Hello, In days back I got Audio Sports _Era of Glittering Gas_ and very much liked it, even the songs without Eye on vocals. So I thought I'd like to get the more recent releases despite his leaving of the group. Well the newer ones are ok, but even with the Otomo Yoshihide remixes they still don't live up to the first. Seems that only one member from the first album remained in the group. So I'm trying to track down the work of the other member, besides Eye, who left hoping that perhaps his work will be as good as the first Audio Sports. His name is N. Takemura. From searching, I've found out that he has one release, _Child's View_, and a corresponding remix disc. Not wanting to put out a huge amount of money again, I was wondering if anyone has these and could tell me how they are. [The Audio Sports first cd is a sort of hip hop like experience.] Plus might there be any other work by this person available? Thanks. btw--Anyone get the new Finitribe? As good as the "Flying Peppers" 12"s? btw2--The Bisk vs. Multiphonic Ensemble 12" is wonderful, but I was expecting that it'd be made up of the two artists remixing each other. Oh-well, still a splendid release. --- Peace Hugs and Unity Jason J. Tar W. W. J. D? (What would Jason Do?) http://pilot.msu.edu/user/tarjason

"Child's View" is a wonderful album. Not very IDM though. Basically Intelligent Acid Jazz (wow, I just invented a new genre), with ambient atmospherics and a touch of trip hop. My favorite track is "Searching" which features vocals by that girl who sang with the Style Council (remember the song "The Lodgers"?). If you like good acid Jazz, IDM, and ambient, I strongly suggest you buy the album. The remix album is also great, features remixes by Wagon Christ and Aphex Twin. Not as good as the album. If I were to choose one, I would get the non-remix CD. Adrian
