As reported in the new Rolling Stone, Axl Rose (Guns n' Roses) is considering 4 producers for his new album—Scott Litt, Steve Lillywhite, Youth, and MARK BELL. Do I see Bjork 2—The Flame War Continues in IDM's future? Sam

I really hope there's no one on the list that would jump to Axl Rose's defense. I'm probably wrong, though. --- : wells oliver / s0ewoliv@titan.vcu : http://mute.simplenet.com

I have this odd picture of a trip-hoppy version of Johnny Violent's cover of Van Halen's "Jump." But, perhaps I shouldn't discuss gabba here. -- andrij.

Perhaps Moby just sucks now and Axl Rose is ashamed to be associated with him.

I hope you all know about the Rob Halford (judas priest ex-lead singer) album that trent reznor produced. I heard one track, sounded like some Spawn soundtrack thing... And I also hope you know that Judas Priest is now being fronted by the guy who used to lead a cover band of theirs. And just a reminder that Tricky is working with that Anthrax guitarist. An interesting NYTimes article today talked about how Metal makes a comeback whenever pop music gets too full of itself. The main example the author used in defense of this thesis was the new Goldie "opus." Just some food for thought. Prog rock and pomp will be the death of us... Sam

I understand that he turned down the opportunity due to having too many other things he's working on... Steve Dolphyn sdolphyn@ibm.net
