I have the 2XLP of 370 degrees, so I am not sure if the tracklisting is the same... This album is comparable to Wagon Christ's material, jazz-infested mutant hip hop with warped analog noises and bouncing 808's... I enjoy it quite a bit. All I know about Frank is that he hails from NYC ... sorry. -mc

he's actuallly from boston. he had a period in nyc as well as the cologne scene for a while. he's back in boston, but right this moment, he's back in cologne touring/promoting some new material out on Harvest. he just played a wicked live set in boston a few weeks back. he totally controlled the place. and he was just taking the piss too. great performer. bennyblanco *********************************************************************** benny blanco the beginings of a web page: gamefx, inc. http://www.fcl-us.net/~benny/index.html ***********************************************************************

here's a review I got from a friend who got it from a friend: A quick review of something I bought over the weekend - Frank Heiss presents... 370 degrees (Blue Planet, PLAN9CD/LP) Hmm, I've very much in 2 minds about this one, because I've already heard the 4 best tracks from this CD, and there are only 4 others - 1. Galactic Nucleus 2. Expand-o-vision 3. Catharsis and Resconstruction | 4. Mashed | these 4 tracks are all on the Liquid 5. Spiral | Sky Adventures Vol.1 CD 6. Chaostrophy | 7. Blue sunshine 8. Tune in The 4 "old" tracks are slightly different from the LSA versions (cleaner sounding (because they're not live), but not necessarily better - for example, the version of Spiral here is unfortunately 5 minutes shorter than the live one (track 1 on LSA), and doesn't sound as wonderfully murky). For those of you that don't have LSA, I'd really recommend this CD (or that CD :) ) - trying to pigeon-hole the music, I'd say it's dark electro-jazz (like that helps anyone know *what* the fuck I'm talking about :) Anyone help me out here?). ------------------end------------------- np: jerry van rooyen - in front of the fire place ----------------------------------------------------------------- Karaoke Kalk visual discography http://members.aol.com/volumunits/karaoke_kalk.html -----------------------------------------------------------------
