It all goes back to my old theory about how the big guys are trying to repress (that's REPRESS, like repression, not re-press like when you make more of a record) any up & coming talent that might be able to compete with them. See, RDJ tried to do it to Mike P when he was on rephlex. So he left, and started his own label, and said, "hey, now I see what Richard's doing. By releasing stuff like those Like-A-Tim remixes and that X-Asp record, and holding my Bluff Limbo in storage for years, he's making his OWN work seem better." So, now Mike is doing the same thing. ;) noah ..now, I know that if those guys didn't want anyone else's music out there, they wouldn't have started record labels. I'm just being silly. I'm sure Aphex Twin and Mu-Ziq aren't quite that devious in real life.

hey hang on! i sent Mike P a tape and he really liked it! so he put my trackon mealtime and now wants to release my record on his label... and he didnt know who the hell i was.... so you reckon he actually thinks my music is rubbish eh? and just wants to release it to make his sound better ;-) as for mike saying stuff isnt ready for release... hes been saying that to me for a year now... but now he says my stuff is ready..... i dont always agree with him... but perseverance is the key! If i had a label id have pretty high standards too.....im gonna stop writing now... Steve /k/./F/ The Church Of England :- Killing Foreigners for Profit and Jesus

Since it looks like steve is modest to speak up, here's the track: 'Utility Fog' Artist: Horse Opera Written & Produced by Steve Taylor k/./F has the luck to get stuck on the side with two songs that I really don't understand why they're on this comp. AFX's ok but entirely forgettable 'Bummy' and the u-ziq mix of Point Blank's 'Eternally' which just sounds like a early '90s ragga jungle toon but a slightly more cut up, but not so much as to match the other drill & bass madness like wafta or animals on wheels. All in all this is a good thing because steve's track REALLY shines! peace, brock np: v/a - 'Disco Moonlight'

it seems that steve always seems to get stuck in this position... the hoarse operator spunk jazz track, "blue tea", was unfortunate enough to be followed (at least on cd) by that god-awful aminals un weels shit.. its a shame, cuz i really loved this track, but i just can't stand the one after it... the way it starts with those disposabledrillnbassbreaks... ugh.. i just can't get into it btw, kf will probably be able to answer this one: is frost jockey that tim tetillo (or whatever) guy that mike mentioned in the exp interview?? np: horse opera: "mifune" .........................hmmm??? _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail.
