Anyone else picked this up? Kirk in his usual sampling mayhem...nice, layered, cacophonic at points. He seems to be cleaning up those samples more than he used to. The overall sound is much cleaner than what I recall on his earlier work (s). jeff -- jeff "10,000 people all screaming the same thing at the same time are wrong, even if they're right." dancing/about/architecture "...with wandering steps and slow..." really? all the newer-school rhk (after the last cabs lets say) has always seemed almost too disinfected sounding to me. i don't see how it could sound any cleaner than it already does! -jeff ------------ 1642 try 621 ------------ --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Crank the volume and some of those. Lots of distortion from the samples and the mix seemed a bit muddy to me - of course, I find that a part of their charm, but the new one sounds good to my ears. jeff Jeff Shoemaker wrote:
