Hello. Could someone identify these tracks: http://www.nougat.com/mp3 Someone e-mailed me asking whether they were from APHEX TWIN or not. They sound like the stuff off the "Universal Indicator" eps, but I can't tell. He also says that the label on the record is white (with `Aphex Twin' written on it), and that it has `europadisc' etched into the run-out grooves. Thanks. sevoorg. .`-). | ; christopher miller o o' evil@digital.net = '

well, a friend of mine who has recently gotten into rephlex-like sounds turns this white label on me with 'aphex twin' written in blue pen on the label the other night. "bro, you gotta check this out, BRAND NEW aphex twin, and nobody knows about it.." it certainly wasn't aphex twin, or at least didn't sound like anything he's ever ever done, but apparently there's a whole lot of these records in philly right now. those mp3's at the site aren't the same record my friend had. so there are at least two very confused people. :) i'll see him tonight and look for the europadisc etch. maybe these are bootlegs the plant made.. :) -eric _____________________________________________________ :: eric sherman szale@doubtful.com :: :: doubtful productions www.doubtful.com ::

Chris, you're slippin' dude! :) I only downloaded track 2 but man, there is no f-ing' way in a million years that is Richard. It is some horrible weak techno, I suggest nobody else waste their time downloading it thinking they are going to hear the twin. And to suggest it sounds anything like the UI's is an insult! They boys have better taste than that! Somebody was asking about Cradle of History by Global Goon. It remains on the 'coming soon' list. Sometime in the next few months I expect. Also, if you are thinking of heading to London for the Feb. 7th Rephresh take note, it has been cancelled (there is a Warp event the same night). But Rephresh will be happening again at the Soundshaft on Feb. 21 and Mar. 7. If you are in the london area and wish to be kept up to date on rephlex related shows you can email raves@rephlex.com to get info on them. And though I haven't had a chance to check at Tower in Tokyo yet AB3, Mike and Rich, Bluff Limbo and Tango n' Vectif should all have been released yesterday. Am very much looking forward to getting the Air album. I've been a fan since I first heard Modular Mix back in 95? Anyway, good stuff I think and I've liked all their singles since. Premiers Symptomes remains on heavy rotation. PLUR, g-dog.

about that white label with aphex written in blue ink.. i found the following etched inside: "axodya 11 a" "axodya 11 b" axodya is marco repetto's label, and it sounds a lot like repetto. but again, those mp3's that were posted here weren't from this record my friend has. oh well. people get confused. -eric _____________________________________________________ :: eric sherman szale@doubtful.com :: :: doubtful productions www.doubtful.com ::

stefan riesen is heavily involved with this great label as well. axodya11 is not RDJ, it's "dennis siemion: airbagging ep" . somewhat vogelish at parts, this is from the guys from the german foxx label!! axodya would appreciate if MP3's were not posted to WWW, as this record is still in print.
