I've just unearthed a WARP 3-track single Feel it / Touch it / Feel it by Coco Steel and Lovebomb at a music shop that's taken over stock of a defunct store - it's undated. Does anybody know when this was released? They also have a couple of other singles, similarly packaged in a purple cardboard sleeve with Warp logo. None of the names very obviously grabbed me, but since they're cheap, should I buy them anyway just for the 'in case they're great' value? I * "Incomplete without surface noise" - Autechre

actually - it wasn't bad vocal house at all, IMNHO. at the time of release, it was an excellent track for the dance floor - with soul and inspiration, and a huge hit in the club scene. the vinyl is probly worth a nice penny - if you don't pick it up, email me where i can get it. one of the two, coco steel and lovebomb, are still around under another name - i think big too, can anyone help me jog the memory cells? tom .sig .dig .oog. .sti. .mul. .eye. ö

Right on - loved it then, loved it now. Another favorite in the same vein was Sine's "I Like It Deep" (ahem) - anyone remember that one? I think it's easy to forget how classy "Feel It" was - it came out at a time when everyone and their remixer was spooning out the New York sound. "Feel It" was tight and groovy and stayed away from the NY cliches. I think for most idmers house (and anything danceable that isn't Luke Slater), by definition, is The Enemy... too bad, they don't know what they're missing. Ashok [etc...]
