When does an artist's "sound" cease to become his/her "style" and start to become a lack of creativity? Ali Lalani "When injustice becomes law... Resistance becomes duty." Some montreal protesters

When people outside of the IDM list start to like the artist, I guess.

Was this question prompted by "Come to Daddy"?

Perhaps my question was too vague. by "style" i mean certain trademarks, things that if you heard the song and didn't know who it was by, you'd assume a certain artist. But with some music, i find that the artist's "style" is merely a lack of creativity...its kinda hard to explain, but the way i see it, it has nothing to do with commercializing.
