Hello Kids Well, after much talk and no one really knowing what's on this lovely little 12" release, I'm here to tell you that this 12" IS NOT NEW MATERIAL except for one track of people talking about feces and stinky cuntz (which may be worth the price for some of you). One track is off of AB3 (track 8 I believe) and the other two are from much earlier works (Caustic Window tracks I beleive) I've had those tracks for about 4-5 years now on a tape a friend of mine made for me. So, this was a BIG dissapointment for moi. If these are the only "NEW" tracks that are going to be on the full CD re-release (which got pushed back, BTW) then all of you who have the orignal release don't waste your time. b/e/n Synaptic Records (Ben & Rick) 608 S. I thought the talk of smelly cunts was hilarious, but hm.. I knew that some of this hype had to be bollocks, coz supposedly the cd has all the tracks, but the smelly cunts track isn't on it. and hm a friend of mine described track 1 off the 3.1 vinyl as saying Flim reminded him of this track, well .. he said a track from AB3, and this is the only track that resembles it, and I heard only the new tracks were supposed to be on the vinyl, but that's all bollocks anyway.. Does anyone have a tracklisting for this release? both the vinyl and the cd. and also I'm curious as to who it is talking about the feces in that track and where it was recorded? (/me thinks of a past story about RDJ and TJ getting fucked up on vodka and inhaling mics). i'm off for the moment due to computer glitches slowing my modem down :Q -- __ __\ \ Game Program ( R G / /_\ \ .gampggrmx.1x26s..1<,www.freq-div.home.ml.org<,, \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> >

are rephlex ever going to get their shit together when it comes to releasing something related to richard james? lessee... we should be expecting the caustic window on limited edition floppy vinyl (comes with four pence to sit on the corners!) any day now, right? oh yeah, and ab3 will be pushed back. but only the CD version. wouldn't want to release anything at the expected time, i guess. i suppose (and i'll probably hear) that i shouldn't complain cause at least they're (maybe) releasing it at all, but why say something and then do something totally different or not do it at all. is that supposed to increase the appeal? whet our appetites? whatever. just put out the music. or don't. but don't tease, and don't put shit on hold for three years for no good reason. annoyed, alan! np:mlo:plasticapple ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com

that's bollocks, it came out last week. it's just that somehow there was a distribution problem and WAC music (i think) was the only distributor to get them, therefore the only place you could get them was modern music, but apparently now the problem has been solved. -- __ __\ \ Game Program ( R G / /_\ \ .gampggrmx.1x26s..1<,www.freq-div.home.ml.org<,, \_____/ >> buh@clark.net >> < > .. >> .<>> >> >

Actually, apart from the spoken word track, all these tracks were on the orginal AB3 CD, they just never made it to the orginal vinyl version just like Rephlex has been saying all along. I don't think this was misleading.

Again, nothing has changed with the CD reissue. It is exactly the same as the original (13 tracks total). Albums Up <albumsup.com> does have the reissued CD's in stock NOW, contrary to everyone saying it has been pushed back. And yes I agree, it was a disapointment when I heard they were going to reissue this. I would of rather have seen AB5 or the infamous new Caustic Window be put out. obliq recordings www.csd.net/~obliq

I remember a long time ago in an interview or something like that RDJ would never go back and reissue the Caustic Window 12's or any other release. I find that to be half true as the "Analogue Bubblebath 3" reissue is upon us. I also heard that RDJ didn't like the results of "Analogue Bubblebath 5" so he scraped that project and the release was only available as a test pressing/promo. Scott. You mean you actually *believe* something that RDJ said in an interview?? Greg
