FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE!
In response to the recent cancellation of the Universe New Year's Eve
event, ISLAND UNIVERSE, Plus 8 Records in representation of PLASTIKMAN,
wishes to clarify the circumstances. As mentioned in Universe's
November 11th release, "The Mean Fiddler have decided to summarily sever
all links between the two companies with immediate effect. This
unfortunately has resulted in the cancellation of the planned 12,000
capacity Island Universe event scheduled for New Year's Eve
"
In lieu of this untimely and unfortunate event, the KLINIK LIVE
production of PLASTIKMAN is presently staying on course. With expected
precision, KLINIK's pre-production staff has developed a monumental
show, which will debut at a forthcoming date, to be officially announced
via Plus 8 Records.
Plus 8 and Plastikman have worked closely together with Universe for the
past three years and will continue to do so in the future. We wish
Universe our regards during this unfortunate time. We also apologize to
any disappointed listeners, anticipating the long-awaited return
performance of PLASTIKMAN LIVE.
