I've seen Dave Wright's name come up a few times on the list (I think) but figured I might bring it up myself. in my opinion, this was a *major* release (possible turning point?) for Invisible Records.

I think it's Visible, an IDM lister and label head ( are you out there________? ) can vouch for that. Agreed, Not Breatjing's material on Visible is fantastic and unusual. ===================================================== bpm0@interport.net Peter Becker: Distribution Manager, DJ Pool Honcho , Demo Tape Filter Asphodel - PO Box 51, Chelsea Station, NY NY 10113 ph: (212) 604-9362, FAX: (212)604-0783, http://www.asphodel.com =====================================================

The actual release I'm referring to (Sangre Azul) is on Invisble (Pigface and numerous other amusing at best bands). There was at least one release by Not Breathing on a label Visible (more? I can't recall and seem to have deleted my directory of music text files that contained the latest Not Breathing discography). Actually, there's a *bunch* of releases on a few different labels, plus a handful of demo tapes that saw quite a bit of distribution over the internet. That was something like 4 years ago (I got my first Not Breathing tape back in New Hampshire, so it was a while ago) Quite surprised that a larger label (I consider Invisible to be a label of some size now) hadn't signed him long ago... Just another note about idm-digest and idm. If you post a message to them both, the message appears twice on idm, and twice in the digest. Sooooo...don't be doing that! :) Teep

its both. visable, as far as i know is no more. the not breathing 12" on visible was the *shit*. there is a *new* cd (is there a vinyl of this?) on *in*visible records.. invisible as in martin atkins and pigface and all that. i have yet to hear it, but if its anything like the quality of material not breathing is known for -- and anything like when i saw them play at kuci, i cannot wait to hear it.. enjoy, chris. ps. though i think the new pigface cd is shitty, the obvious contributions from dave wright are quite impressive -- if only the other sounds would go away.
