wellll... the recommendation of leo anibaldi's _void_ is good, as are cylob. also: d'arcangelo's rePHleX 12" is wicked. none of it really compares to autechre ("void" being the closest in alienation). if you're into the drum and bass thing, panacea's _low profile darkness_ (and everything else) is nice, fast, crunchy and fucked up, again nothing like autechre (though he does use a bit of "second bad vilbel" nicely on one track). also in the fucked jungle mode, i highly recommend downpour, who are doing for jungle/d'n'b what autechre did for technotronica. there it is, yo; [grievous@netaxs.com] [http://www.netaxs.com/~grievous/] "no more dinosaurs, no more trees couldn't find the vinyl, no record stores."
