OK Last summer Drum n Bass for PAPA came out. The import CD (original one to come to the US) did this have all three plugs? I don't think it This summer Blue Planet releases a double CD the 2nd disc contains the plug 3 ep. - this is the one I bought a few weeks ago:) so now I assume, I need to get this latest DOMESTIC installment with all 3 Plugs, eh? GoD why can't they somehow tell us in advance instead of taking advantage of us all the time!!! Thank god someone on the list had first hand knowledge that SIRE was releasing RDJ lp with the GIRL/BOY ep included. I am glad I waited for that domestic and didn't fork over $30 for that shitty release! g

Actually, PJ @ Modern Music mentioned here I THINK... I know that it was in the release notes on the weekly stock list... I might actually even have the weeks list around =) But I was pretty sure that someone had mentioned that it wasn't going to be released... maybe not... still glad I got it... Plug cds sound great in big steel boxes at 32 degrees... My boss got all excited... ...'smoke a joint'... she was all over that shit... =) Chris brap@sonic.net HeathenNet Projects: http://www.sonic.net/~brap/ HeathenNet: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Studio/9923/ The WhiteZone-L:http://www.sonic.net/~brap/whitezone.html C.Gosselin, PO Box 8264, Santa Rosa, CA 95407

I would have said something if it was 100% confirmed that this was going to happen. Actually, I'm wondering whether I should get the Blue Planet for that one Plug 3 track that's missing. And I'm pretty sure I'd snatch up a Plug 2 if I ever saw one... Damn this trainspotting thing is expensive... btw... Was very surprised to find the new Freeform 12" on Worm Interface at my local shop, Planet X in New Brunswick, NJ. Usually I have to search abroad for WI stuff. Nice and Tasty. Will try and give a more detailed write up after I listen to it more than once! Funny thing is that they had a label on the sleeve that said: This Is Squarepusher. I spent a few minutes trying to straighten the guy out (I was tempted to grab their copy of the Prowl ep to show him that Freeform wasn't an alias for Tom J). My thought was that they saw the Worm Interface sleeve and assumed it was Dragon disc 2 or something. Howie

Nobody's taking advantage of me... I've got DnB f Papa, and Plug 1 + 2. Paid about $30 total. ($18 for dnbfp, $12 for P12). Could care less about 3. If Luke wants his music heard the world 'round, then he best come up with a better arrangement, I agree. But that's his problem, not mine. there's too much else to listen to. -- guy@earthweb.com a.k.a., Guy Elden, Jr.

it's the LUKE VIBERT Big Soup that was supposed to be release on Nothing this month, but was held back. I remember seeing an ad from Ninja Tune, way back in May-June I believe, that the Plug double CD was to be released (then on Ninja Tune) The Wagon Christ's will be out on Nothing, too... just time will tell WHAT exactly.

Egad! Some of you think that Trent Reznor owns Luke Vibert's soul! Plug - All of his UK stuff originated on Rising High, then Blue Angel, now Blue Planet. Nothing licenses Plug material for the US. Wagon Christ - All current Wagon Christ gear in the UK is on the Rising High label [RIP]. _Throbbing Pouch_ was pressed in the US by Moonshine. All future Wagon Christ material will be released through Virgin UK, via Luke's Personal Stereo imprint. Luke Vibert - Luke records as himself for Mo'Wax in the UK. _Big Soup_ will either be pressed by A+R or ffrr; I can't remember which. Only squares worry. Not I. Not us. You worry far too much. g.

i offer as Defense Exhibit A, this quote from Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto: --------------------------------------- Q: What's up with MBM being on Nothing? A: I really appreciate Trent's willingness to put his money where his mouth is. Not many people have had the guts to do this. Everyone should know that Nothing have been incredibly supportive and they never try to manipulate my music. What I give them, they release... no pressure. I have artistic freedom and support from a label that truly has their shit together. --------------------------------------- from what i know of the goings-on down in new orleans, i see no reason to think that luke will get any different treatment. -- Jon Drukman jsd@gamespot.com SpotMedia Communications ...I was an infinitely hot and dense dot...

Hear, hear! If I had as much capital and resources as Reznor, I wouldn't release the Plug LP state-side, due to a fear of a poor reaction. Initially, I feared Nothing's "plan" to lure Vibert to the states, but now I applaud his actions. I'm finding Reznor to be quite the gutsy businessman. I only wish good luck to him and to the US Plug LP! Quit bellyaching about how terrible you think NIN is and thank the good lord you can get _Papa_ and the rare Plug EPs at a standard US price without going through the trouble of trainspotting.

good thing 'cause i saw the 'd+b for papa' import for almost $30 (!) in a D.C. shop. Anyone expecting this (u.s. domestic of d+b for papa) to show up in Tower? dan.....
