I second those recommendations of the Kandis & Saucer records. Get them. anyone provide me with a brief description of this label? Sorry, haven't picked up anything released on KK, but pj at modern music has them listed as 'label of the year, next to m.a.s' big statement, someone email me and tell me about 'em. gil ps: Next time a wonderful album like PLAID's _not for 3's_ comes out will someone slap me upside the head and tell me to get it immediately! I waited too long, what a wonderful piece of work!

Karaoke Kalk is out of Cologne, with four releases so far (supposedly a fifth one is out?). The style of the first couple releases is in the freestyle electro vein, think Metamatics meets Mouse on Mars. I don't have KK03, but KK04 features a rather unconventional drum'n'bass track and some nice trip-hop on the flip. The music is quite worthwhile, the design is even rather nice, but I wouldn't say they deserve all the hype they've been getting. -arjun

sorry, that´s not right. Kandis made KK1, KK2 and KK5. He although was part of the Motel ep which has been KK4. KK3 was just made by ...saucer.
