id say its similar to beauty nowhere. a little less noisy
and i think it sounds perhaps slightly more electronic?
first track is slide, an alright track, but theres other scala stuff i like
more. perhaps because the vocals are quieter and more distorted in other
scala tracks.
the next track is vitamin x which i really like. the music starts and is
played at a low volume for the first minute and a half. then the volume picks
up and the vocals drop in. i think what i like about the song is that the
vocals sound like sarah peacock and her clone singing slightly out of phase,
and smothered by the distorted guitars placed on top of them.
the last two tracks are both remixes of slide. i dont think that
either remix really adds anything new to the song or covers any new ground.
theres some good stuff on here, but unless youre a scala/seefeel/locust
completist, id save my money and hope that the next scala release has more
variety and more tracks since this release really has only 2 tracks.
