'Timber' will be included on the CD-Rom and also on the audio CD part. As for the other video you're asking about...not sure what one you mean? Ninjas

Judging by his description I'd say he means "Natural rhythm". I haevn't seen "Timber" but the one I'd be interested in is the one that was played at last Summer's "Big Chill" after "Natural Rhythm", with fully synched sound/vision, but all the visual elements were computer generated rather than from stuff like Natural Rhythm. I remember the track was d&b and the kik drum was represented by a pulsating red donut thing. you know.. natural rythtym is the only coldcut track i've ever heard.. and i hope that i never hear another. it had to be the absolutely worst fucking piece of annoying shit that mine ears have ever been privvy too. - wells oliver / s0ewoliv@titan.vcu.edu " when our worlds they fall apart when the walls come tumbling in though we may deserve it it will be worth it."

(this is the video on the boot the system cd, right?) No, the song is not fantastic, and it even annoys me a little. BUT: to disregard coldcut based on that one track is about the stupidest (no offense) thing you can do, and you'd be missing out on some great tunes. Pick a random aphex song and judge him by it! No, better yet, judge him by his new "come to daddy" song that everyone is so fond of. --brett On Tue, 19 August 1997, at 10:53:24, wells wrote:

true.. but no aphex song has ever seemed as empty, boring, and corny as natural rythym. it really got on my nerves. maybe someday i'll check out some other coldcut - but i'm not going to lose any sleep over it. np: biosphere 'substrata' - wells oliver / s0ewoliv@titan.vcu.edu " when our worlds they fall apart when the walls come tumbling in though we may deserve it it will be worth it."

After listening to it again, I feel confident in saying that the song was made to go along with the video. Essentially a demonstration of their video-making technique, which I enjoy. It is quite a horrible song, indeed! There's no point in loosing any sleep for sure. --brett On Tue, 19 August 1997, at 11:56:54, wells wrote:

Here to join the fray and ALSO just based on one track (Autumn Leaves, a '93 release on a compilation) I have to say that this particular track is *** kitsch ***. I am _not_ judging Coldcut by this one track, but nor am I in any particular hurry to check out anything else. I *

Coldcut doubters, check out the first track on the new _More Beats And Pieces EP_. If this is not immensely appealing to you, I would check yourself for a pulse, as I would suspect that you are dead :) Just personal opinion of course, no need to boot your foot up my ass for having a little fun with 'ya. I can't do nuthin' for 'ya man, Paul wesley@interaccess.com
