On that note, i'd like to take a little poll. What's your favorite dance-oriented "IDM" artist/album? I'm partial to Orbital myself, The Box EP, probably just because I was exposed to them early on in my techno experience, but still... Tricky (another danceable kinda guy, albeit on a completely different tip) is gonna be on the Keenan Ivory Wayans show on Tuesday. I hope he can translate his live feel onto that terrible show. Is he the first electronic type artist to make it onto American late night TV? And finally, can anyone recommend a decent house compilation for someone who has hated all the house he's heard? Thanks.
