apparently, this guy is not really concerned with neither morality nor copyright, but there are number of ways to cope with it - just like with spammers first of all, people here are on different (music related) mailing lists, and we might use those lists for more 'massive' action :-) then, I guess contacting his Internet provider might be useful, as I doubt his ISP would like to take part in robbery (as there are regulations for all sorts of companies prohibiting them from dealing with stolen property) then, I'm really happy with this mail bomb idea IDM itself has lots of members, and even though we had occasional arguments on intellectual property, (c) etc., in this case a huge majority supports Gonzi. and we may use other lists we belong to. so I suggest that Gonzi should write some short letter (actually its text wouldn't be that important), and post it to the list. and then everyone supporting the idea would just use junglizt's favourite technique - cut'n'paste - and send Gonzi's text to junglizt@islandia.is and would continue this daily until the guy changes his mind (actually we may do it later on a weekly basis, so the guy will be reminded constantly that stealing is no fun.. :-) one mail a day to send is nothing, but this pimp's mailbox would be more than full. maybe we attach a picture, changed daily? ;-) (say, Squarepusher, Spymania et al. cover art?) but sure, we should do something about it. come on, after all, we're talking about Gonzi's site! mk np. im up for doing this, however we should make sure that it is clear that the mail is coming from the whole list and not just Gonzi... or it could just end up with gonz getting lots of abusive mail... Steve /k/./F/
