I'm not familiar with DSN, but the disc does take a step away from HIA's norm. It seems like something that will sell better. I can't say "Pop"ish, but there's less complexity, more kickin' bass drums, less rolling bass chords. Don't get me wrong, the disc is killer. One of my favorite traditional buys of the year (I can't judge this kind of music against things like DJ Food - Refried Food or Hypnotics Dub n Bass or anything from Amon Tobin).
