Hey!
I've just finished giving the Beaumont Hannant discography a facelift,
Most of what I've done is organization; I've tried to format Ren8sance's
data so that it's not only easy to browse, but also so that it's easy to
find something specific. Oh, and it's now completely legal HTML 3.2, for
those who know and/or care what that means. The astute will also notice
that the URL has changed ever so slightly:
http://www.monkey.org/~laps/hannant/
My good buddy S2 is waiting for just the right moment to give me a color
scheme and some graphics to put on the page (right, S2?), and I have
already gotten some lovely cover scans from a Mr. Peter Date of Australia.
I'm also wading through my Hannant collection and adding .wav samples of
certain tracks so that the uninitiated might have a chance to experience
the oft-overlooked (at least on idm) talent that is Mr. Beaumont Hannant.
Yet even in spite of Ren8sance's exhaustive trainspotting, there are still
a few holes that need filling. Generally, I'd like to know about any
format or country that is not listed. But I do have some specific
questions:
-Is there an Outcast mix on the US Promo CD of Hyperballad? If so, which
one is it and what is the catalog number?
-What is the catalog number for the US single disc AI2?
-What is the catalog number for the UK Possibly Maybe (Bjoerk) that has
the live Outcast mix?
-What is the catalog number/label for Bjoerk's _Telegram_ (all formats
except UK CD)?
-Is there a UK AI video? If so, what is the catalog number?
-Are there non-US versions of the Hannant/Husik releases?
OK. Enough. Please e-mail me if you are interested in helping. I'd also
love to have feedback on the page itself; I am considering breaking it up
into a series of smaller pages, but have yet to reach a conclusion. Oh,
and if you have Hannant releases and a color scanner, I'd love to hear
from you too.
Energy doesn't weigh much.
