Can someone help me out here? My current "holy grail" is one of the Joy Rex EPs (singles?)...mainly because Caustic Window is about the only Aphex pseudonym I don't have any material from...anyway, can someone give me an idea of what to expect if I should find one? I think the key phrase here is "if I should find one..." which is highly unlikely....unless in 2nd-hand form. gonzi to the rescue... Joy rex 4 and 5 have 'Caustic Window Joy Rex J(4 or 5 as the case may be)EP' printed quite prominently on their labels. They also say 'RePHLeX CAT 004/5' in big letters on the b side. On the A side label is a picture of the king of clubs from a deck of cards (hardy, har). The re-press, which you are most likely to find, will probably be in a plain black sleeve, though my joy rex 4 original pressing is in a watts music sleeve. As for joy rex 9, its a bit more subtle.
