Hi, I was at a friends house playing him some prodigy records, because he wanted to know what it was. When we got to "no good" he asked me if this was "jungle", i said no and played him a source direct record for reference. But the guy couldn't tell the difference. So i started listening close to the prodigy track (which before that, i never had done) and had to give the guy some credit. Just put it on and listen to the clattering beats. It's really different than the ordinary breakbeat programming Liam puts down. Any other people with different views? byebye, Collin

well, the Prodigy, or at least the pre-mainstream prodigy (??) made breakbeat.. and Drum&Bass/Jungle is pretty much breakbeat, except it's a lot faster, and has loud distorted basslines, etc. __ __\ \ / /_\ \ \_____/ , m7=

Gotta disagree with you there. While there are occasional jungle-style breaks in Prodigy songs, none of them are based on them. "No Good" is primarily a straight-ahead techno song, with occasional breaks of mad percussion in it. -- Adam J Weitzman -- Individual, Inc. -- http://www.individual.com -- "If there's been a way to build it, there'll be a way to destroy it Things are not all that out of control." - Stereolab, "Crest"

the worst thin about the prodigy is keith's irritating singing (if that's what you call it) musically their ok but i just wish they'd get a 'good' singer or stick to instrumentals. (IMO) no flames please.
