Without a doubt, 30.7.94 or "Tripping On Sunshine" or whatever that dayglo orange one is called has got to be one of my favorite ambient albums of all time. Track 2 (forget the title) is absolutely above reproach. "Kitchen" is a fine example of circa '93-'94 ambient techno/idm, but I haven't had the opportunity to hear "Present" yet, and how that stacks up..... Peace JaMeS

Hi. I've been a member of this list for a few weeks now, and I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Sun Electric. I didn't even find them in the archives. Is anyone interested in their work? They've *definitely* been mentioned here - I think the problem lies in the search engine for the archives. It doesn't find multiple words very well (if you look for electric, it'll find all the sun electric stuff, but a lot more junk too. If you look for sun electric, it'll probably have a hard time finding anything). cya brian
